More Graphic play

Another one of my favorite shows on Cartoon Network is called Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. If you haven't seen this show I suggest you check it out. The writitng is clever and the charatcers are very imaginative (thus the name) and although the animation is done is Flash and (After Effects I think) it's eye candy for those of us who love traditional animation.

Eduardo

This is another exploratory piece. I've been goofing around with Corel painter 9 and although it takes some getting used to I find it to be a pretty amazing program.

Billy

Part of my job at Cartoon Network involves portraying the characters in an interpretive design style. This is Billy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, one of my faves.

Silph

This is Silph. A battle droid I have reactivated after about 10 years of dormancy. Say hello, Silph. I've been playing around with different color combinations. Sometimes it comes to me and sometimes it doesn't. I'm still searching.

Conan

I did this sketch during a staff meeting with a set of multi toned brush markers I got from my boss for christmas. It's supposed to be Conan the barbarian. I was a huge fan of the Robert E Howard book on Conan when I was a kid. I was also a rabid fan of the art of John Buscema.

Werewolf? There wolf!

I figure I'd post for this last sketch jam although I didn't get it to a level I wanted to get it to.
